Intercom Systems are essential to keep the communication between driver and co-driver up to the required level in a Competition car.
Driver and Co-driver are wired with a microphone and high quality speakers.
The Stilo helmets are designed around their integrated intercom system for an excellent sound clarity.
The systems can also be used for saloon race cars for pit crew - driver communication where the pit crew plugs in to talk about set up changes when the car stopped in the noisy pit environment.
The typical system for circuit racing is a radio system to allow the driver and pit crew to communicate even while the car is running around the track.
